SCANDIA YOUNG FOLK DANCERS
The Most Fun You Can Have on a Saturday Morning!!!
The Scandia Young Folk Dancers are a group of young performers learning and sharing cultural folks dances from among our five Scandinavian countries. They formed in 1986 under the direction of Karl Sorensen and are currently instructed by volunteers of talented young adults who have been dancing with the Scandia Folk Dancers since they were young children.
The practices are held every Saturday morning at 9:30, at the Scandinavian Cultural Centre.
Classes are for youths 5-17 years.
Some of the young adult dancers have continued to enjoy folk dancing by joining the adult dance group, the Fun Folk Dancers.
